At BRITA, we are committed to fair cooperation. We strive to live up to our own high standards and values in everything we do. Compliance with rules and laws is a matter of course for us. Our aim is to act with integrity at all times in order to protect our company, our employees and everyone who works with us – including the BRITA brand.
Our Code of Conduct sets out clear rules that apply to all BRITA Group employees. This code is binding for our interactions and forms the basis for all business activities.
But for us, compliance means more. It also means taking responsibility for what is done in our name. We expect fair and dignified working conditions from our business partners along the entire supply chain. We also expect them to prioritise protection of the environment and climate just as much as we do. That’s why we have formulated clear requirements in our Supplier Code of Conduct. Compliance with this code is a requirement for a contractual relationship with BRITA.
We do not tolerate any violations of human rights, either at our company or in our supply chains. The measures we take to identify and address human rights violations at an early stage are set out in our Human Rights Policy and our annual Human Rights Statement.
We have created the BRITA Whistleblower System to prevent or respond appropriately to violations of human rights and laws, our Code of Conduct and other BRITA policies. This system gives our employees and all business partners the opportunity to contact us if they suspect misconduct within the BRITA Group or in our supply chains – anonymously if they so wish. Our Code of Procedure regulates the careful handling of all incoming information and its strictly confidential treatment.
