Taking over from the LTA’s long-standing single-use water sponsor, we made a major stride towards eliminating single-use bottled water—and we served up a win!

We surpassed our initial target , removing the equivalent of over 220,000 single-serve bottles from the 2024 LTA major events this summer—double what we originally aimed for! This was achieved by providing the same BRITA water you enjoy at home, delivered through BRITA water dispensers and reusable bottles at courts and stands.

Together, we’ve shown that by simply switching from single-use bottled water to BRITA, we can reduce our environmental impact without sacrificing quality, experience, or taste.

Serving up a first-of-its-kind sponsorship

Filtered on tap:

BRITA filtered water was available on tap both on and off the court, ensuring players, officials, and attendees could refill and enjoy it from any reusable bottle.

Sustainable sipping:

All players, officials, and ball boys and girls were provided with reusable bottles. Spectators also had the option to purchase reusable bottles on-site if they didn’t bring their own.

Don’t bottle it:

Single-use plastic water bottles were completely phased out across all major LTA 2024 tournaments, preventing over 220,000 bottles from ending up as waste.
