Types Of Still Water
You’ll find still water in a range of types, each offering its own benefits. All still water usually originates from natural flowing sources such as springs, lakes, rivers or glaciers and is often filtered or purified.
- Mineral water: This type of water is sourced from mineral-rich underground aquifers. It contains natural minerals that support bone and heart health.
- Spring water: Comes from natural water springs that flow to the surface and are typically free of chemicals and high in natural minerals.
- Glacial water: Often considered high-quality still water, this comes from melting icecaps and provides pure and unpolluted water.
- Filtered still water: This can come from any source, but it is filtered to remove bacteria and harmful impurities. It can be bottled or sourced from the tap.
- Distilled water: Produced through a process of distillation, where water is boiled to produce steam, and the steam is then condensed back into water. This still water is free from minerals, contaminants and bacteria.
